Restaurant hangs banner for breast cancer awareness

The popular Cincinnati restaurant Teller's will partner with Karen Wellington Memorial Foundation for LIVING with Breast Cancer to hang a fifteen foot banner in Hyde Park Square during the month of January to spread breast cancer awareness, according to Cincinnati.com.

Teller's will be hosting their eat-drink-donate campaign on Thursday, January 20th, and donating proceeds from food and beverage sales directly back to Karen's LIVING foundation. Along with their support and continued promotion, Teller's will also donate two dollars for each glass of Wellington wine ordered at their restaurant.

"The goal is to make the pink ribbon hanging in front of the restaurant a topic of conversation so people are curious and come find out what's going on. All they need to do is come in and dine on January 20th and they will be contributing to a local organization that allows women to have a moment to themselves with their loved ones," Teller's partner Brendan Hurley told the news source.

Karen's LIVING foundation was formed in 2007 and sends breast cancer patients and their families on vacation, spa days and other fun activities.
