Snowshoes in the fight against breast cancer

The Iverson Snowshoe Company in Shingleton, Michigan has partnered with local charities to release a pink snowshoe to benefit the Eric R. Beverly Foundation for cancer research, according to Michigan's WMBF.

The $200 Think Pink snowshoe is a handcrafted wooden snowshoe that is durable and built to endure the harshest winters. The snowshoes are available nationwide and come in a variety of sizes for adults and children. The Michigan company believes the promotion is a fashionable way to support a worthy cause.

"[We've] got to fight this disease, it effects every one of us," Bob Graves of Iverson Snowshoes told the news source.

The company will donate ten percent of the proceeds to charity in the hopes that they can do their part to continue the fight against the deadly disease.

The Eric R. Beverly Foundation is a Michigan charity that promotes education, breast cancer awareness and support and resources for patient in treatment. The charity was founded by 10-year NFL veteran offensive lineman Eric Beverly.
