One brave high school student from Michigan is breaking all of the usual teen stereotypes by defying school rules to support children with cancer.
J.T. Gaskins, a 17-year-old cancer survivor himself, decided to grow out his hair with the intention of donating it to Locks of Love, an organization that provides disadvantaged children with cancer with human-hair wigs. But J.T.'s high school responded by suspending him, saying his hair doesn't meet school dress code.
Most teenagers are concerned with hanging out with their friends, going to school sporting events, and wearing the new trends — but J.T. wants nothing more than to help other kids like him who are struggling with cancer.
Stand with J.T. Gaskins and all children who are fighting to make the world a better place for cancer survivors.
