I was diagnosed in June of 2010 with stage 1 grade 2 breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy with the removal of 2 lymph nodes on the left side. After going through chemo and radiation I am cancer free. Wtih the help of my husband, children and grandchildren and friends I fought this diagnosis with dignity and humor. Yes I lost my hair and I wore wigs and scarves and hats. I didn't give up and I never will. Keep fighting until we find a cure and erradicate this disease from our vocabulary.
