I found a lump. I will be honest with you, my doctor was a jerk. He told me that my concerns were nothing. We minced words, and I won. My mother was a volunteer at the hospital, and spoke with the radiologist. He hold her that she had a smart daughter, and to get me to a surgeon ASAP. Hearing those words, "you have breast cancer," can scare the life out of you. I was fortunate that I caught it in time. Don't keep a doctor who isn't supportive.
