With the presidential election looming, now is the time to refocus our efforts on helping Americans get back to work. It's simply not acceptable for hard-working Americans who are contributing to society day-in and day-out to be living in poverty.

That's why we need to support legislation like the Rebuild America Act. The Rebuild America Act would put less pressure on the middle class in terms of the tax code, address workforce training and invest in education, promote manufacturing jobs, and help make retirement more secure. We need this piece of legislation to pass if we want to see America take a step forward in employment and financial security.

Write to Senator Tom Harkin encouraging him to push the Rebuild America Act through Congress and into law before the election!
