National Parks in America are in grave danger— funding for these precious lands is steadily decreasing year after year. And just when it seemed as though matters couldn't possibly worsen for our America's parks, President Obama proposed cutting the budgets even further.

Our pristine lands and priceless wildlife cannot afford to lose any more support. Though they may fall under the category of "wild nature," national parks must still be looked after with great care. Sign the petition asking President Obama to reconsider his decision and allocate more funding for America's precious national parks.

Dear President Obama,

As a concerned wildlife and environmental advocate, I am writing to express my disappointment with your decision to remove funding for America's national parks. The plant and animal life that inhabit them is too priceless to let fall by the wayside— and I'm concerned that's what could happen if we continue to neglect our responsibility to keep them healthy and vibrant.

Investing in America's parks also means investing in our future. If we choose to care for them the way they should be, not only will we see an improvement in our physical environment but also improvements to surrounding communities' ways of life. National parks provide for revenue to gateway communities that lie within their vicinity.

Please work with your colleagues and environmental activists to ensure our national parks receive the care and attention they need for survival. Your dedication to this cause could mean the advancement of nature, wildlife, and progress within struggling communities.

Thank you for your time.
